Tommy Lasorda, famed former manager of the Dodgers, was hospitalized in New York City. He was representing the team at the MLB Draft. The heart attack is categorized as minor and is expected to leave the hospital in a few days. The doctors inserted a stent to open a blocked artery.

Lasorda retired in 1996 after a heart attack, ending his 21 year career as a manager. He is currently with the Dodgers organization as a Special Adviser to the Chairman.

The staff of Draft Day Suit sends it’s best wishes to Lasorda for a speedy recovery.
