NBA All-Star weekend brings out the league’s best players and their latest footwear fashions. A new crop of All-Star shoe styles are released each year, in celebration of the weekend. Vibrant colorways, bold graphics, intricate details and special effects characterize the kicks that players will debut in Orlando. Here’s a rundown of the sneakers you’ll see on court:

Nike’s 2012 All-Star releases are out of this world, literally. Taking inspiration from space exploration, the collection features a galactic theme. According to the brand, graphics pay homage to the supernova, while the outsoles glow in the dark and individual ‘mission patches’ adorn each shoe as a nod to the accolades astronauts receive.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant will wear the space-themed styles. LeBron’s home state of Ohio features more astronauts than any other state. With that in mind, he will wear a special version of the LeBron 9, taking inspiration from the orange space suit. Kevin’s Nike Zoom KD IV colorway is silver and takes inspiration from the silver suit of a notable Oklahoma astronaut. Kobe’s Zoom Kobe VII System was designed with a telescopic inspired graphic with supernova as the primary graphic. The mission patch on the heel is a mamba snake as a nod to Kobe.

Below are some additional galactic Nike styles that might also pop up in Orlando:

Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul bring us back down to Earth, with simpler All-Star sneaker styles. They’ll represent their conferences wearing new colorways of their signature Jordan Brand shoes. The Jordan Fly Wade 2 will feature a white, midnight navy and royal blue colorway, similar to the hues on Melo’s Jordan Melo M8. Paul will rock the Jordan CP3.Va in a red and white colorway. All three of these shoes will be available beginning February 23rd.

In addition to developing the gametime uniforms, adidas has designed a special colorway of the newest signature shoes for Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose. Dwight Howard will sport the adiPower Howard 2, while Derrick Rose will wear the adizero Rose 2.5. Both pairs were created in bright orange hues, to pay homage to Orlando’s Orange County and the state’s famous oranges.

adidas Originals will also release a special version of the AR2.0. It features gold stars on the sockliner and navy and orange colorway.
