Team USA’s golden girls and guys traded their patriotic threads for designer fashions at last night’s Golden Globe awards. Since the completion of the London Games, several Olympic athletes have remained in the style spotlight. They were coveted front row fixtures at New York Fashion Week in September, they’ve graced the covers of men’s and women’s fashion magazines, and some have begun the process of designing their own clothing lines. They all succeeded at the Olympic Games but how did these athletes stack up on the red carpet? Check them out:

Gold medal winning gymnast, Gabby Douglas, donned a sequin, neon gown from Pamella Rowland with matching silver and neon pumps. She also debuted a new ‘do featuring a thick set of bangs.

Gabby’s teammate and fellow gold medal winning gymnast, Aly Raisman, chose a sleek, black gown. The dress featured a plunging neckline and high-leg slit which was right on trend with celeb red carpet fashions for the evening. Aly tweeted about her ensemble, which included apparel and accessories from Pandora, Elie Tahari an Badgley Mischka.

Gold medal-winning sprinter, Carmelita Jeter, stunned in a black and white patterned dress from Tadashi Shoji. She tweeted the photos below, showing off the intricate detailing on both the front and back of her ensemble.

Gold medal-winning swimmer, Missy Franklin, hit the red carpet in a black gown with a cowl neck, accessorized with a statement necklace. Together with Olympic gold medal figure skater, Evan Lysacek, Franklin spoke to Access Hollywood about meeting Justin Bieber and what it’s like to be at the Golden Globes.

Olympic swimmers Nathan Adrian, Natalie Coughlin and Ricky Berens were also among the athletes in attendance. Fans are use to seeing them in very little clothing but the men suited up for the occassion and Natalie opted for a blue, sequin mini.
