Meesh & Mia, an apparel company best known for its fashion-forward, officially licensed collegiate clothing range, has recently expanded its efforts to include NFL-themed apparel. Earlier this year, the company released a limited-edition, Super Bowl XLVII collection. The line included jackets, vests, tops, dresses and leggings emblazoned with the Super Bowl XLVII logo. Meesh & Mia will also debut an NFL collection in time for the upcoming season. The company tweeted the NFL logos below, a sneak peek at the football fashions.
In addition, Meesh & Mia announced today, a strategic partnership with actress and former Baltimore Ravens cheerleader, Stacy Keibler. According to the release, Keibler will play an active role in Meesh & Mia’s product design process, providing style content for MeeshandMia.com, and behind-the-scenes footage on her personal website. Keibler’s signature Meesh & Mia collection will be available this fall at MeeshandMia.com and NFLShop.com. The gridiron gear will be unveiled this September in New York.
“I am extremely excited to work with Meesh & Mia as I’ve always wanted to be involved in designing trendy apparel for avid female sports fans and the team market,” said Keibler. “Due to my combined passion for sports and fashion, I believe that this joint venture aligns perfectly with the brand’s profile and I am honored to partake in this project.”
The brand’s offerings allow fashion and sports enthusiasts to showcase their team spirit without sacrificing their personal style, and Keibler helps to represent those female fans.
“We have been looking to partner with someone who was not only appealing and recognizable to our target audience, but someone who truly represents our brand,” said Elizabeth Turley, President and CEO. “Stacy is a diehard football fan, and as a former Ravens cheerleader and fashionista, she represents every female fan who wants to show her team spirit without sacrificing her style.”
Keibler is also slated to appear in the latest NFL Women’s Apparel campaign, shot by famed fashion photographer, Patrick Demarchelier.
