Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week officially kicks-off tomorrow but last night, Lincoln Center was transformed into the ultimate runway for the Fashion’s Night Out fashion show. Over 1500 guests packed into Fashion Week's new home where more than 150 models showcased the top trends for this Fall. The biggest names in the fashion world watched as "Mad Men" retro dresses, rocker-chic ensembles and military jackets were among the styles that dominated the runway. The show was the brainchild of Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, and was meant to rally consumers to shop during the second annual Fashion's Night Out on Friday, September 10th.

Front row seats are like a badge of honor at any fashion show, especially one of this calibur. And yesterday's front row was dominated by some of the biggest sports stars.

Taking a break from their US Open play, tennis aces Caroline Wozniacki and Roger Federer attended the show as guests of Anna Wintour herself. Anna took time earlier in the week to visit Arthur Ashe stadium for some tennis action and they returned the favor with a visit to Lincoln Center.

Wozniacki looked gorgeous in a metallic Angel Sanchez dress, Kara Ross jewels, Stuart Weitzman shoes and a Rolex watch. And Roger looked sharp as always in a dark suit, as he sat beside Anna. Take a look:

But despite their close friendship, Federer might have to watch his back. Anna has her eye on another major athlete; the fashion maven is rumored to be courting the NY Knicks $100 million man, Amare Stoudemire. "Wintour personally invited Stoudemire to last night's Fashion's Night Out runway show at Lincoln Center, and word is he'll join editor-at-large Hamish Bowles at the Tommy Hilfiger runway show on Sunday." [NY Post]

Amare too sat front and center last night, dressed in an eclectic blue Tom Ford suit with Gucci shoes. And he was joined by none other than tennis superstar and fashion designer, Serena Williams, who also looked amazing in a nude John Galliano dress.
