NFL Network names top 10 uniforms

For those who are not familiar with the NFL “Top 10” program, it is a documentary series that airs on the NFL Network and is produced by NFL films. The episodes have included a wide range of topics from “Draft Trades” to “Controversial Calls” to “Home Field Advantages.” The most recent list had a fashionable focus, as it named the “Top 10 Uniforms” of all-time.

Some NFL teams have mastered their on-field attire, while others just can’t seem to get it right. Some teams have made only minor changes over the years, while others alter their gear so frequently, it can be hard to keep track. Whether you're fashion fans or not, the best and worst dressed teams are always a topic of conversation among football supporters.

Since only 10 unis could make the cut, the NFL Network tapped into players, fans and even fashion experts to offer up their critiques. While a few of the top picks were to be expected, others will no doubt surprise football fans. Let's take a look:

1.) San Diego Chargers' "powder blues"

2.) All throwbacks. Except for these: (Denver Broncos' brown and yellow)

3.) Oakland Raiders (silver and black)

4.) Dallas Cowboys "whites"

5.) San Francisco 49'ers (the 90’s look)

6.) The Pee Wee Uniform (Huh?)

7.) Cleveland Browns and their logo-less orange helmets (“It’s so ugly it’s beautiful”)

8.) Cincinnati Bengals (with striped helmets)

9.) Throwback Tampa Bay Bucks (orange and white)

10.) All cheerleaders uniforms

Many sports fans who tuned in or have already seen this list, are unsatisfied with the outcome.
