Tom Brady to endorse UGG boots

A Glam Slam covers the latest news and trends in fashion and sports, wherever the two worlds collide.

Apparently for Tom Brady, receiving lots of slack for his Justin Beiber shag cut wasn't enough. Now the New England Patriots quarterback will be endorsing UGGs, the female-focused Australian brand best known for their sheepskin boots. Brady has always been a man of style but with this new fashion addition, his overall look is beginning to resemble that of a teenage girl rather than a manly NFL superstar.

UGG Chairman and CEO Angel Martinez said, "He [Brady] embodies the stylish casual attitude that is at the foundation of every product we make, and is as much a style icon off the field as he is a playmaker on it."

Brady had this to say: "I have worn and loved the UGG brand for a long time. This collaboration gives me an opportunity to work with a leading global brand with a great history and a true vision for the future of its men’s collection. It’s an exciting time to be part of the UGG Australia team."

It's interesting to hear that Brady is such a fan, considering we have yet to see him sporting the comfy boots. But in addition to being the face (and feet) of the UGG Brand, Tom will also consult on "product inspiration" for future collections.

The next game for the 9-2 Patriots will be against the 9-2 Jets in a much anticipated Monday Night Football match-up. If Brady and the Pats are hoping to intimidate their opponents, this certainly isn't helping. You can bet that Rex and the Gang Green guys will have a field day with this one.
