By now all tennis fans are familiar with the name Nicolas Mahut. The Frenchman was part of the longest tennis match in history when he competed against American, John Isner, at Wimbledon last year. Unfortunately for Mahut, he finished on the losing end of the 11-hour and five minute match.
The two players met up once again during a recent Hopman Cup mixed doubles match in Perth. Mahut stole the show this time around but not because of his style of play; instead it was his style of dress. He hit the court wearing a women’s Lacoste tennis mini to match that of his partner, Kristina Mladenovic. He also sported a pink headband and long socks courtesy of Isner's partner, Bethanie Mattek-Sands'.
In a sport that has had its fair share of unique on-court fashions, this style statement definitely takes the cake. As the finishing touch, please note the strategically placed tennis balls in the photo below.
