Every little girl dreams of a white wedding dress, the perfect groom and an engagement photo on home plate. Okay, maybe not the latter. Though there are plenty of baseball fans out there who choose to incorporate America’s favorite pastime into their special day. And merging the love of your life and your love of the game can be a great idea when done tastefully.
For the second year in a row, Busch Stadium is here to help. The home of the St. Louis Cardinals is hosting a Boutique Bridal Show. The grounds that are typically filled with rowdy baseball fans will soon be filled with brides-to-be. On February 20th, guests will have an opportunity to tour the ballpark and see the facilities that can be utilized for wedding-related events such as rehearsals and receptions. Florists, photographers, cake experts and additional wedding vendors will also be on hand to help create the perfect bridal experience.
Just a few months ago, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw made news with his very own “Dodgertown” wedding. Kershaw’s wife even posed for photos in her wedding gown and team jersey.
