Serena WIlliams back on the court in a hot pink, catwoman-inspired bodysuit

Serena Williams is known for pushing fashion boundaries in the game of tennis. She makes headlines for her on-court apparel as often as she does for her game. A string of injuries has kept the tennis star off the court and out of tournament play since her win at Wimbledon last year, but today she finally returned for a practice session.

Her agent, Lisa Smoller, confirmed to the Associated Press: “She was out hitting some balls today. Taking it day by day depending on how she’s feeling and was very happy to be back on the court.”

But it’s not Serena’s comeback that has fans buzzing, it is once again her choice of fashion. Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Serena manages to shock us with her latest style selection. She tweeted a photo of herself taking some practice serves in a bubblegum colored, skin-tight, Catwoman-esque spandex bodysuit. If anyone can pull this off, it’s certainly Serena, but here’s hoping this trend stays far away from tournament play.
