Tomorrow, WomenTalkSports.com editors (Megan Hueter and Lesley Higgins) will be at the WNBA Draft.

In addition to our regular coverage, which you can find here, we've decided to "give back" to those younger than us and take our Draft coverage to the next level. We've partnered with Girls, Inc. of NYC to facilitate an opportunity for a 9th grader who loves sports. Her name: Tanya Tanis of Brooklyn, NY.

Tanya will be "behind the scenes" performing first-hand interviews with WNBA executives like Donna Orender and college coaches like Sherri Coale (Oklahoma), Debbie Ryan (Virginia), Bill Fennelly (Iowa State), and Connie Yori (Nebraska). From there, she'll be heading back-stage for a NBAE/ESPN Production Tour and sitting with the rest of the media to watch the actual Draft.

Tanya will be armed with questions like why these individuals entered the sports industry, what their favorite aspect of the game is and what their life struggles have been. Stay tuned for tweets from @womentalksports. For up-to-date (minute-to-minute) information on draft picks, we recommend checking out @WNBA

Here's Tanya's bio:

Tanya Tanis, Brooklyn, NY

My name is Tanya and I'm a 15 year old from Brooklyn, NY. I grew up around females mostly since my father is the only male in the family. I have one sibling, my sister Kathie. I have always been taught to do whatever I believe I can do and want to achieve by my father. Since I was the athletic girl in the family he encouraged me to play sports which started my love for sports. I currently play flag football and basketball. I encourage girls to play sports because they are fun and to have new experiences. It is important for girls to do what guys say is not possible for a girl to do. I am a member of Girls Incorporated of New York City at the Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women, an all-girls public school focusing on math & science. I have hopes of becoming an OB/GYN.
