2014 Super-Regionals Sunday Update #NCAAsoftball14

Summarizes major developments in NCAA Division I women's softball, with a focus on the Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10, and SEC. My frequency of posting accelerates as the season progresses, from primarily on weekends during the season to live-blogging during the post-season as I watch games on TV.

Here is where things stand today. Four teams (Alabama, Baylor, Louisiana-Lafayette, and Florida State) have clinched slots in the Women's College World Series. The other four slots are at stake today (see chart below).

Washington has evened up its series with Florida, with a 4-3 victory in Game 2. The deciding game is now underway, as is Game 3 between Tennessee and Oklahoma.
