The Hall of Fame coach, who's 59, will continue to lead the Vols, which are ranked third in both the AP and coaches polls. Tennessee opens its regular season against Pepperdine on Nov. 13.

"She told our kids two things," associated head coach Holly Warlick said of Summitt to Roberts. "She says, 'I'm going to remember your name. And I'm still going to yell at you."
