Seattle Storm Announces $15 Tickets for 15th Anniversary Game

All Remaining Tickets for July 31 will be $15 to Celebrate 15 Years of Storm Basketball

and Karen Bryant’s Final Game as Storm President & CEO

 

 

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm has announced plans to celebrate its 15th Anniversary during the team’s July 31 game against Indiana. Following 15 years with the Seattle Storm and 18 years in women’s professional basketball, Storm President & CEO Karen Bryant has also announced that July 31 will be her final game with the organization.

 

To celebrate the Storm’s 15th anniversary, all remaining available tickets to the July 31 game will be sold for $15, excluding courtside inventory, at StormBasketball.com or by calling (206)-217-WNBA (9622).

 

In-game celebrations will feature video tributes, taking a look back at all the franchise has accomplished together. The game will also feature video and photo montages commemorating Bryant’s time with the Storm and in women’s professional basketball. Indiana Fever head coach Lin Dunn, who has also announced her retirement following the 2014 season, will be included in the celebrations to commemorate her place in Storm history as the franchise’s first head coach. Former Storm players have been invited to attend the game.

 

Kicking off the celebration week, Bryant will be throwing out the first pitch at the Seattle Mariners game on July 25. Fans are able to purchase tickets to that game in a specific Storm block at mariners.com/storm.

Hired by the Ackerley family in 1999 to help secure a WNBA franchise for Seattle, Bryant has worked tirelessly over the past 15 years to build the Storm reputation what it is today.
