Perhaps you've seen three-time MVP Lauren Jackson's feature in Seattle Magazine's Most Influential people issue in November. Well, the Australian native is also up for the United States Sport's Academy's female athlete of the year.

Currently Jackson is in Russia and scored 28 points with 14 rebounds as Spartak Moscow defeated VICI Aistes 85-52 on Wednesday for its fourth win in six games. It was enough to earn the Aussie (pictured right by The Seattle Times) her first POW for EuroLeague play.

Unrestricted free agent Svetlana Abrosimova is in Russia playing with UMMC Ekaterinburg (5-1) with Cappie Pondexter (New York) and Crystal Langhorne (Washington). Abrosimova, a versatile guard, has appeared in two EuroLeague games for the club.
Meanwhile F Jana Vesela, a Storm rookie, is averaging 5.0 points and 3.0 boards in six games for her Ros Casares Valencia team. The Spanish squad, which leads Group D at 5-1, also features Rebekkah Brunson (Minnesota), Edwige Lawson-Wade (San Antonio) and Katie Douglas (Indiana).
In Israel, restricted free agent F Camille Little was named POW for Round 6 of league play with 27 points and 13 rebounds for Ramat Hasharon (6-1). She plays with Alexis Hornbuckle (Minnesota) and Chante Black (Tulsa).
Storm F Le'coe Willingham is averaging a team-leading 19.3 points and 10.8 rebounds for Elitzur Ramla (6-1). She's overseas with Seattle teammate Tanisha Wright and they have a game on Thursday.
In Australia, where former Storm PG Tully Bevilaqua was named POW on Wednesday, Storm free agents Abby Bishop and Ashley Robinson are playing for the 7-3 Dandenong Rangers. They have a big game on Friday against the Bulleen Boomers, featuring 6-8 center Liz Cambage.
Storm rookie Alison Lacey is home in Canberra playing for the defending Capitals with former F Suzy Batkovic and Nicole Romeo, who left the University of Washington program. Lacey is averaging 4.8 points for the WNBL-leading Capitals (10-1).
Unrestricted free agent Swin Cash arrived in DongGuan, China. She's going to play a second season with DongGuan New Century Club in pursuit of a WCBA championship.
