Boucek.jpgThe Storm re-signed Jenny Boucek as an assistant coach, the team announced on Thursday. Boucek did all the work of an assistant for the 2010 championship season, but under WNBA rule, couldn't be classified as an assistant, travel nor sit on the bench with head coach Brian Agler and assistant Nancy Darsch.

Well, move over folks, Boucek is back on the sideline. The WNBA owners ruled teams can have two assistants and Boucek was re-signed. She was an assistant for Seattle's 2004 title team and a head coach at Sacramento, compiling a 40-41 record before returning to the Storm under the "player development and scouting" tag.

"I'm thrilled that we have re-signed Jenny to the Storm coaching staff along with Nancy Darsch," Agler said in a released statement. "Jenny played an integral role during our championship run. Having witnessed and experienced the WNBA from both the playing and coaching vantage points, she brings a valuable perspective to our staff. I look forward to working with her in our effort to defend the WNBA title."
