WNBA All-Star game to be held in San Antonio on July 23

San Antonio is preparing to announce it will host the 2011 WNBA All-Star game, according to what sources told the Express-News. The game is set to be played July 23 at the AT&T;Center with ticket prices going on sale Thursday, starting at $11.

It's the furthest West the game has been played since 2000 when conducted in Phoenix. Connecticut, Washington, New York, and Orlando also have held the game in the past.
