Jayda Evans covers college and pro women's basketball. While its her first year on the Washington beat, she has covered the Storm since its inception. She'll offer observations, critiques, occasional off-beat tales and answers to select e-mail inquires. Evans also has written a book on the Storm and women's hoops, called "Game On!"

Gonzaga star PG Courtney Vandersloot, who was drafted by Chicago, is part of the 22-player roster in Las Vegas training with USA Basketball. Storm veterans Sue Bird and Swin Cash are also in the mix for the session running Tuesday through Thursday.
Here's a recap from USA Basketball and an interview with Minnesota All-Star Seimone Augustus. There are some independent journalists on site, I'll post what they may have to say when available.
