For years, every October, the longboarding organization puts on the Broadway Bomb. For some it is a push race, for some a chance to ride with hundreds down Broadway. Either way, it is 8 miles of pushing.

The Mayor and NYPD threatened that anyone skating on Broadway or nearby streets would be arrested. But that did not stop over 1000 riders who hit the streets. Many of them were girls. These three here were the fastest. The winners of the race that happened, but didn’t. Broadway Bomb 2013. Be there.
