This year’s XGames “Girls Day” was awesome!! Girl Riders Organization (G.R.O.) had a booth setup all weekend long offering free workshops for girls attending X16 to try skateboarding and BMX! I’ve been doing this for the past few years, and every year the turnout and the amount of fun we all have is bigger and better!

Though X Games doesn’t yet offer a girls class for BMX, the girl skateboarders let Lauren and I crash their street course practice. Got in a few grinds down some ledges and rode the teacups, it was awesome!! Got the ultimate boot off the superpark course, but just getting to cruise the street course, see a bunch of old friends at X, make some new ones, was amazing!! The ultimate reward was the smiles and good times had from the GRO clinics. Everyone had a blast and I hope we can do it every year! Hope you enjoy the pics!!
