Patti McGee is the first female inducted into IASC’s Skateboarding Hall Of Fame alongside Stacy Peralta, Steve Caballero, Eric Koston and Bob Burnquist.

GRO holds first Women’s’ Masters skateboard contest with the Vegas Invasion. Jean Rusen claimed the award as the top rider 30 or over.

Lizzie Armanto Claims 1st in World Cup Skateboarding Bowl Rankings. She is the first to beat Julie Lynn’s 12 back-to-back 1st place finishes and 3 back-to-back years as World Cup’s 1st ranked Girl Bowl Rider.

Lacey Baker 1st female to qualify to the finals of any Spotlight series including Damn Am, Tampa Am and Tampa Pro. Reaching the finals against 99% male competition.

Leticia Bufoni. She claimed 1st for World Cup 2010 Ladies Street. Not just that, but she claimed 1st or 2nd at every stop of the series around the globe.

Gaby Ponce won both 1st place finishes this year and thus first overall. The past few years we have watched her rise to her current top standings.

King Of The Road introduced females as the mystery guests for 2010. Lacey Baker, Alexis Sablone, Elissa Steamer and Marisa Dal Santo all hit the road to spice up the tour!

Vans Combi Pool Classic host most women in a single discipline contest since the days of Slam City Jam, maybe even a couple more.

The proliferation of female skateboard brands. This year saw Silly Girl pounding the concrete, taking their entire crew to event after event often producing half of any girls division. This year saw some big team additions in Hoopla and Skatera bringing some power players fully on board. That’s just a peak. Bapple, Cool Girl Decks, Curly Girl, Cupcake, Daisy and Gidget are also out there and there are more of them. There are also more in the works for a 2011 launch. Wow. Not to mention Elissa’s boards from Zero and Krooked.

Seeing as GRO is an organization representing all the riders, we want your input. There is one spot left. What do you think number 10 should be?
