These days, in the wild west of book promotion, a book video trailer is a very useful tool -- mine is up on YouTube, featured as "Book Trailer of the Day" in Shelf Awareness, a great independent publishing site, and entered in a contest for ForeWord Reviews! I've been meeting terrific people at book readings, in particular a range of women, all ages, who have some experience with boxing, kickboxing, or martial arts, etc., and describe a feeling of identification with my book.
