Charmaine Tweet will be stepping back into the Invicta FC cage to face off against Veronica Rothenhausler in Invicta's first 155 pound fight at the promotions 8th event going down on Sept 6 in Kansas City, MO.
From her Invicta Bio: As a child Charmaine “Not So Sweet” Tweet asked for boxing videos from her parents, and received Sugar Ray Leonard fitness videos instead. Not finding what she was looking for, Tweet eventually joined up at Duke Roofus’ gym to box before falling in love with the martial arts. A world championship kickboxing career followed. Transitioning over to MMA, where she met Ronda Rousey her in her debut bout. Despite a storied kickboxing background, Tweet’s submission skills are world class, and she intends on using all her skill on her way to the top of the Invicta ranks.

The hot topics of the show were Gina Carano getting an immediate title shot once she signs the UFC contract, Dana White and Nate Diaz manager Mike Kogan Twitter beef, Should men and women be ranked together? Nick Newell calling foul, wants a rematch against Justin Gaethje and more.
