It’s now a poorly kept secret that not everyone chosen in today’s NWSL Supplemental Draft is actually going to suit up for their team. While the speculation is bound to continue all the way up to training camp, here’s how I would rank the forty-five players selected if all were to play this season:

1. Nikki Krzysik – D
2. Tina Ellertson – D
3. Bianca Henninger – GK
4. Val Henderson – GK
5. Katy Frierson – M
6. Natasha Kai – F
7. Casey Nogueira – M/F
8. Marian Dalmy – D
9. Christina DiMartino – M
10. Stephanie Ochs – F

11. Lindsay Tarpley – F
12. Estelle Johnson – D
13. CoCo Goodson – D
14. Courtney Jones – D/F
15. Lauren Fowlkes – D
16. Jordan Angeli – M
17. Alyssa Mautz – M
18. Liz Bogus – F
19. Laura Heyboer – F
20. Tori Huster – M
21. Joanna Lohman – D/M
22. Kandace Wilson – D/F
23. Angie Kerr – M
24. Katie Schoepfer – F
25. Brittany Cameron – GK
26. Bianca D’Agostino – M
27. Michelle Wenino – D
28. Michelle Betos – GK
29. Alison Falk – D
30. Meghan Lenczyk – F
31. Kaley Fountain – D/F
32. Michele Weissenhofer – F
33. Merritt Mathias – F
34. Jasmyne Spencer – F
35. Angela Salem – M
36. Jessica Luscinski – M/F
37. Megan Mischler – F
38. Kim Yokers – M
39. Lauren Barnes – D
40. Jackie Santacaterina – D
41. Ashley Grove – F
42. Lauren Alkek – D
43. Casey Berrier – D
44. Jessica Shufelt – F
45. Heather Cooke – D

A rough estimate of how I’d rank how the teams did today if everyone signed and played, while not taking into account team needs:

1. FC Kansas City
2. Sky Blue FC
3. Portland
4. Chicago
5. Washington
6. Seattle
7. WNY Flash
8. Boston

More in-depth analysis forthcoming…
