(Note: As you might be able to tell, things are seriously wonky here. I used Chris Thomas’ guidelines for which range of teams is picked for which seed from the study of previous RPI reports. I went with the boundaries for the final report, i.e. the top twenty-five teams, though only 1-6 for the top seeds, etc. With essentially 5.5/12ths of the data still out, this is obviously a lot more volatile than the bubble measure I used above. Still, it’s worth noting that Penn State, #1 in the RPI right now, is ranked #23 on my seed chart.)
