Musings:

-Maryland vs North Carolina is an interesting case. The Terps won head-to-head but have a few more odd losses and the Wake Forest loss a few days before. Can’t really argue with the placing of either by any of the polls.

-I have a UC Irvine bias and am not shamed to admit it. The Big West is not an easy league to get through unscathed and the Anteaters are doing it.

-Wisconsin poll outrage update: Two more wins, both over uRPI Top 50 teams, second in the Big Ten, 9-1-2 in their last twelve…not ranked in the Top 25 in any of the polls. Anyone care to justify that?

-Yeah, the win over Wake Forest was clutch, but are we really arguing that a team that has won two of six, with one of those over Clemson, is a top 15 team? I don’t buy it.

-Santa Clara has two wins over uRPI Top 80 teams and one over a uRPI Top 50 team. Ranked between 10-14 in all three polls. Egads.
