Atlanta Beat (0-1-0, 0 pts.) vs Sky Blue FC (0-0-1, 1 pt.) – Saturday, 7 PM EST

The Beat could see a lineup shakeup after their hammering at the hands of Boston in week one. Carli Lloyd is a candidate to feature from the start for James Galanis’ side after playing in the second half last week against the Breakers. Goalkeeper Allison Whitworth is suspended after being sent off late in last week’s match, meaning Ali Lipsher gets a chance to stake her claim for the starting job this week. Lauren Sesselmann is eligible for selection after serving a one match suspension but misses out through injury. Rookie Katie Bethke and Angela Salem are not on the active roster for the match. Keeley Dowling is in line to get a start against her former club, as are Lloyd and India Trotter.

Atlanta Beat (from) – Lipsher (GK), Dowling, Mitts, Reynolds, Whitehill, Trotter, Chalupny, Jesolva, Lloyd, Larsen, Lenczyk, Fraine (GK), D’Agostino, Flanagan, Marquez, Patterson, Strnadova, Wright

Sky Blue FC are still without the services of Spanish forward Adriana but should otherwise be near full strength as they embark on their first road trip. With Kiersten Dallstream, Michelle Wenino, and new signing Jennie Clark all inactive, second-year player Danielle Johnson looks to be the only defender on the bench for Jim Gabarra’s side for Saturday. Gabarra also has decisions to make over whether to start USWNT players Tobin Heath and Heather O’Reilly after both began on the bench this past Sunday. Former Beat players Heath, Carolyn Blank, Eniola Aluko, and Angie Kerr could all feature against their former club.

Sky Blue FC (from) – Branam (GK), Asante, Dew, Fletcher, Taylor, Sjogran, Blank, Long, Kalmari, Nogueira, Aluko, Bardsley (GK), Johnson, Heath, O’Reilly, Kerr

Philadelphia Independence (0-0-1, 1 pt.) vs MagicJack (0-0-0, 0 pts.) – Saturday, 7 PM EST

It’s very much as you were for Paul Riley’s squad ahead of their first home match of 2011. Veronica Boquete is still tied up with club duty in Spain, while Allison Falk and Danesha Adams are in line to miss their second straight match each through injury. Holmfridur Magnusdottir and Lauren Fowlkes are both in line for possible selection after being healthy scratches last week in the road match against Sky Blue FC. Amy Rodriguez figures to be in from the start after last week’s super sub performance in the second half.

Philadelphia Independence (from) – Barnhart (GK), Johnson, Krzysik, McNeill, Robinson, Buczkowski, T. DiMartino, Lindsey, Farrelly, Kai, Rodriguez, Henderson (GK), Fowlkes, Lohman, Magnusdottir, Rapinoe, del Rio, Sanderson

Dan Borislow’s team has dominated the headlines throughout the offseason and could do so again before their first match on Saturday evening. Hope Solo is suspended amidst the fallout from her Twitter opinions following last season’s finale, meaning Jillian Loyden is likely to start between the pipes for MagicJack. Christen Press is the sole member of MagicJack’s talented rookie class to make the trip up north, while Nikki Marshall is a shocking omission from the traveling squad. Late signee Lydia Vandebergh is ineligible, likely as a result of not getting her international clearance in time, while Canadian Sophie Schmidt is also listed as unavailable. Danish international Johanna Rasmussen also misses out on the traveling party to Philadelphia.

MagicJack (from) – Loyden (GK), Dalmy, Sauerbrunn, Rampone, Ellertson, Boxx, Huffman, White, Masar, Tarpley, Wambach, Maron (GK), Moros, Schnur, De Vanna, Press

Boston Breakers (1-0-0, 3 pts.) vs WNY Flash (0-0-0, 0 pts.) – Sunday, 6 PM EST

Despite a commanding 4-1 win in their opener against Atlanta, Boston were rocked by a season ending injury to midfielder Jordan Angeli. Additionally, Nikki Washington is a doubt for Sunday through illness, adding to Boston’s midfield woes. Tony DiCicco’s team will likely be boosted by the return of numerous USWNT players who were rested in the face of international duty last weekend. Rachel Buehler, Amy LePeilbet, and Lauren Cheney are all in line for returns, meaning the Breakers could wield their first choice defense for the first time this season. Kelley O’Hara figures to be promoted to the starting lineup to replace Angeli.

Boston Breakers (from) – Naeher (GK), Cox, Buehler, LePeilbet, Scott, Osborne, O’Hara, Smith, Winters, Cheney, Schoepfer, Davis (GK), Dieke, Moore, Reed, Bogus, Cross, Blayney, Hemmings, Washington

WNY Flash head coach Aaran Lines faces a few headaches of his side’s WPS debut on Sunday. Fans waiting to see the Flash’s golden trinity of attackers will have to wait a little longer with Marta stuck in Brazil for at least the time being, meaning Christine Sinclair and Alex Morgan will have to provide the fireworks. Midfielder Yael Averbuch is also mysteriously listed as unavailable while McCall Zerboni misses out through injury.

WNY Flash (from) – Harris (GK), Chapman, Wilson, Riley, Engen, Edwards, Bock, Seger, Parker, Morgan, Sinclair, Cameron (GK), Lewandowski, Fountain, Goebel, Davison
