The WWE is interested in Gina Carano, but not for wrestling.
The WWE has branched out to films over the past decade, and after a recent consumer survey, Carano topped people they’d like to see in their upcoming releases, according to a story reported Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer. Carano will be starring in her first feature film “Haywire” this January, and is expected to be competing in December.
If Strikeforce survives past February, a WWE contract would not interfere with her current Zuffa contract. No word on if or when the WWE would consider signing Carano to their film’s division.

It would be great to see Carano getting more publicity, everything helps in this game. And from what I've seen of the trailer for Haywire, there's nothing to be 'shamed of either.
