Jiu-jitsu rising star Shino VanHoose at the age of 16 has got her first win in pro MMA.

VanHoose only took 51 seconds to choke out journey woman fighter Nana Ichikawa at Pancrase Impressive Tour 10 in Japan. This made VanHoose the youngest American female fighter to debut in pro-MMA.

She was born in Japan, but is a U.S. national as her father is an American military officer. She has lived throughout the world, and is currently living at U.S. military base near Tokyo.

VanHoose trains out of the Paraestra Hachioji dojo. No word on her next match.
