G2 Women’s MMA Summit/Tuff-n-uff to be Featured on CNN

Wombat sports is dedicated to women in combat sports. Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. It is his vision to bring some of the best coverage to help bring and promote the ever expanding popularity of women’s MMA, wrestling, and martial arts with some of the best writers and athletes.

The G2 Women’s MMA summit this past summer in Las Vegas was a huge success, and “CNN Presents” was there to document how female fighters in MMA has grown in popularity.

They followed several fighters including Michelle Gutierrez and Jessamyn Duke were followed by cameras as they talked about their lives inside and outside the cage. The crew also covered seminars at the G2, as well as the Tuff-n-uff event during the summit.

The documentary will air on CNN Oct 23rd, 8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PST. Set your DVR's!
