It has been hard for us to recommend all they people we want you to follow on twitter. 140 characters is just too short. So, starting this week, Wombat Sports will give you three fighters or news people we recommend following on twitter.

This week we recommend…

Amanda Lucas (@AmandaLucasMMA)

Amanda Lucas is gearing up this weekend for her fight in Japan, and has become a media darling in the “Land of the Rising Sun”. Having her her last match at Deep, Lucas seeks to make it two in a row against Mika “Hari” Harigai. Lucas has lost a lot of weight, as seen in some of the pics she has tweeted. You can follow her Japanese exploits of the past week on her twitter.

Alexis Davis (@AlexisDavisMMA)

One of the top ranked 123 pounders in the world, Canadian Alexis Davis has gotten two solid wins in Strikeforce and is now a top contender for Miesha Tate’s title. Davis has fought some of the best competition in the world with the Raging Wolf promotion, and now spends her training time between her native Port Colborne, Ontario and Florida. No word on when her next fight will be, but Davis is a raising star in Strikeforce and is a must follow.

Bridgett Batch (@TheBigBlackWolf)

This amateur fighter was on the Wombat Podcast this week and is set to make her Tuff-n-uff debut Nov. 11. Batch (2-1) has two TKO victories and when she is not fighting, she is a model. This dangerous beauty is just starting to shine in MMA.
