The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation crowned it’s female world champions in Long Beach over the week. Four females took the five titles as this year’s best in female BJJ fighters.
The results were:
- Absolute: Michelle Nicolini subbed Bia Mesquita (footlock)
- Feather: Michelle Nicolini subbed Nyjah Easton (armbar)
- Light: Bia Mesquita def. Tracey Goodell by points (takedown)
- Middle: Rachel Leigh subbed Emily Kwok (kneebar)
- Heavy: Emily Wetzel subbed Katrina Weilbacher (rear-naked choke)
