Friday’s Weigh-in Photos: JAG-Ellis Announced for MTV2; Kunitskaya Looks for Bushido 145 Title

Two of the top ranked fighters in the 115 pound division will be going at it on live TV, as it should.

#3 ranked Lisa Ellis (right) will face #2 ranked Jessica Aguilar (left) in Bellator at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL and live on MTV2. CEO Bjorn Rebney held a contest this week for the slat televised spot, and with an overwhelming 60% of the vote, Ellis vs. JAg got the nod.

Eliis weighed in at 114 and Aguilar at 117. Aguilar decided to give up 20% of her purse instead of dropping the extra pound.

In Vegas, Elaina Maxwell (140; left) and Roxy Richardson (139.5; right) made weight for their “Battle in the Dessert” Muay Thai fight at the Hard Rock Casino, which will be available on Go Fight Live for $15. Also on the card, Vivan Leung will face Cassie Trost.

Top ten ranked 145 pounder Yana Kunitskaya (left) will face hometown girl Arune Lauzeckaite (right) in Lithuania for Bushido’s first ever women’s title. This fight will be streamed live Saturday at 10 a.m. pacific on http://www.livestream.com/mmabushido.

And in Kentucky, Absolute Action MMA has five amateur female fights including the high anticipated 145 pound title match between champion Jessamyn Duke (right) and Amanda Bell (left). These fights will be streamed live and free on AAMMA.net.
