Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. It is his vision to bring some of the best coverage to help bring and promote the ever expanding popularity of women’s MMA, wrestling, and martial arts with some of the best writers and athletes.

It has been two years in the making and in just a few weeks, we will get to see Gina Carano in her major motion picture debut in “Haywire”. With guys like Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas, and Michael Douglas across the screen from her, it was more of an acting challenge for even the seasoned professional.
The transition from fighting to doing her own action stunts wasn’t easy for Carano either. She had given a stuntman a broken nose in rehearsals. She had stated in an Ariel Helwani interview that she did do “90% of the stunts”.
