Wombat sports is dedicated to women in combat sports. It looks like we won’t be seeing Gina Carano in the cage anytime soon.
Carano has been cast in the upcoming film “In the Blood” according to the Hollywood Reporter. The action thriller will be directed by John Stockwell, who has also directed “Into the Blue”, “Blue Crush”, and “Turistas”.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is about a husband [who] disappears while vacationing in the Caribbean with his wife, who will be played by Carano. The grieving wife passionately and recklessly pursues the men whom she believes kidnapped and killed him.
Filming is set to start in late spring/early summer in Puerto Rico.
