Seven time India National kickboxing champion Jeet Toshi is hoping to kickstar WMMA in Mumbai this weekend. Fighting as a Strawweight, she will take on Pooja Mehra as both make their MMA debut at Full Contact Championships on Saturday.

Besides her accolades as a kickboxer, she is also fought on the WuShu circuit around Asia. Fellow countrywoman Pooja is a practitioner in karate. It is rare to see a female fight in India, but this is a great start.

Following the match, Toshi will be back in training against another debut fight, Nichole Chua, at OneFC in Singapore March 31.

No word on if the FCC 5 will be streamed online. Her OneFC fight will be streamed online on the OneFC website.
