Cyborg Santos is back in the states and is starting to get back to her normal life.
After was has been a harrowing beginning of the year with her break-up with her husband and a positive steroids test, Santos went to Brazil to seek some time away from the spotlight. Since her return to the states, she has stated she will be appearing at InvictaFC’s first ever card Apr. 28.
Santos has been under the gun by many MMA fans about her positive steroids use, and she posted an apology and explanation on MMAPrine.tv.
Although the former Strikeforce champ did give a written apology after her positive test, this was the first time we heard from her in her own word. She sheds light on what changes she has made in her camp and in her training; plus addresses concerns of her critics.

The only thing that will be shocking the next time she fights will be how soft she looks compared to when she was juicing. If women's mma is smart she'll be banned for life.

I don't think a first offense needs to lead to a full out band. This was the first time she tested positive, and apologized for it. She did her due diligence to correct the mistake.
You also need to look at this as "what's good for the goose" mentality, seeing that a lot of male fighters were caught using PHDs and are still fighting today.

Maybe. Folks had been talking for months about her physique in the context of juicing.
She just got caught this time. I mean seriously, we all have eyes. It is what it is.
I agree on the goose thing. If dudes get caught juicing they need to be banned for life too. It's a bigger issue than just a competitive advantage. It plays to the straight fighter potentially being permanently injured due to someone that thinks its OK to cheat.
MMA is tough enough without letting bad people that want to cheat hurt the folks that want to play it straight.
