Many female cage fighters have children; some even single moms. MTV decided to spotlight one that has to deal with all of it in her teens.

Reno Combat’s Lindsay Harrison is working her way toward her first MMA fight while raising her daughter Aniyah. Harrison was featured on the hit MTV show “16 and Pregnant” this past week as she had to give up her dream (at least for a little while) to make sure little Aniyah came into this world healthy.

In the episode, she was hesitant to tell her coach about why she had been missing out on training; but her determaination and heart soon came back after  giving birth.

“To not to be able to cage fight effected me emotionally,” Harrison stated in an after show interview on MTV.com. “Everything would get to me more. I would just keep everything inside of me then go to the gym. Then say ‘I’m good.’”

“But it was like I didn’t have that anymore. Then it got to the point I couldn’t work out at all because I was on bed rest. I couldn’t go on walks or anything. I was going crazy. It was hard.”

You can follow Harrison on her twitter @LilMamaLinds and on Facebook.
