InvictaFC Preview – Strikeforce Vet Sarah D’Alelio vs. Undefeated Vanessa Mariscal

After two attempts of getthing these two to fight, undefeated Vanessa Mariscal will face Sarah D’Alelio in a bantamweight contest.

Mariscal (2-0) has 15 years of experience in martial arts, including karate, kickboxing and Jeet Kune Do. Originally a student of UFC legend Royce Gracie, she has a brown belt in BJJ; which showed with her two rear naked choke wins in MMA. She is hoping to make it three in a row.

D’Alelio (4-2) is coming back to the 135 division after her loss to Strikeforce’s Ronda Rousey. After starting her career on a four fight win streak, she is looking to bounce back from two straight losses. She recently trained kickboxing in Thailand and is hoping that will give an edge.
