Invicta certainly will be a who's-who of women's MMA. If a fighter isn't on the card, she's cornering a woman who is (or she's commentating).

On what is a stacked all women’s card coming into Invicta, some of the most talent fighters will be inside the cage fighting, and mentoring.

Several fighters will be cornered by fellow fighters as they hope to get a win on this historic card:

Miesha Tate & Nicdali Rivera-Colonoc

Former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Miesha Tate will be in her long time friend’s Nicdali Rivera-Colonoc’s corner. The two met in 2007 at the Bodog/Hook-n-Shoot tournament. Tate has been in Colonoc’s corner several times over the year, and Tate’s wrestling experience could be a factor in a win.

Randi Miller & Cat Zingano

Top flyweight Cat Zingano is cornering Olympic medalist Randi Miller in Miller’s debut into MMA. The two were on the same college wrestling team and good friends before they took separate paths in combat sports. When Miller decided to change to MMA, Zingano took her friend and teammate under her wing.  Zingano’s experience could help Miller make her first MMA match a successful one.

Jess Philippus & Cassie Rodish

Even though Jess Philippus had to drop off the card, she will be supporting her replacement Cassie Rodish in the corner.

Rodish and Philippus train from time to time only living a few hours away from each other. With Rodish needing a win to improve her record, the very successful Philippus could help Rodish’s focus and wrestling in the match.

Kim Couture & Sofia Bagherdai

Sofia Bagherdai will be cornered by Kim Couture. Couture has helped out with Bagherdai’s comeback training as feature in the Invicta documentary released a few weeks ago. Couture’s resources in terms of training and dieting may help Bagherdai make her return successful.

Invicta will be live in Kansas City. MO on Apr. 28 and will stream online at InvictaFC.com at 8 p.m. eastern/5 p.m. pacific.
