Carla Esparza vs. Sarah Schneider Planned for InvictaFC 2

After the announcement of Sara McMann versus Shayna Baszler at InvictaFC 2 on July 28, a possible second match is close to being official.

According to WMMA Today, #5 Unified ranked flyweight Carla Esparza will take on Sarah Schneider in another match on the card.

Esparza (6-2) is coming off a win over Felice Herrig this past December, and her only two losses came to the top two flyweights in the world; Megumi Fujii and Jessica Aguilar. Esparza is looking to solidify her spot in the division.

Schneider (6-5) is coming off a submission of the night victory over Sally Krumdiack and is on a two fight win streak. Having faced the best in all divisions, Schneider is hoping to jump into the flyweight rankings in front of her hometown crowd.

InvictaFC 2 will be in Kansas City, MO July 28 and will stream live on InvictaFC.com.

More bouts are expected to be announced this week.
