It has been the Muay Thai battle that everyone wants to see.

England’s Julie Kitchen (47-8) will be seeking her 15th  kickboxing world title belt against the undefeated WBC & WMC champion Miriam Nakamoto (14-0) August 18 to the Pala Spa Casino Resort in California. The fight had been set up several times over the years, but due to injuries and scheduling conflicts; it never came to fruition. Until now.

Kitchen’s last bout saw her rack up her 14th title with a decision victory over Aleide Lawant. Nakamoto is coming off a TKO win over Sandra Bastian.

The fight will headline a card that will feature three other female kickboxing battles.

The Kitchen camp release a video to help promote the fight and “The Queen of Muay Thai”.
