We haven’t heard a lot from the #1 Unified ranked featherweight Hiroko Yamanaka since her match with Cyborg Santos at Strikeforce in December. Since then, the match was overturned due to a positive steroids test by Cyborg.

Yamanaka will seek some redemption as she takes on Muay Thai specialist Germiane de Randamie on the preliminary card at Strikeforce Aug. 18 live on ShoExtreme.

MMA-Japan.com and Charles Jewett took some time to interview Yamanaka about her upcoming bout, her last match with Cyborg, and aspirations in the US and Japan.
