Weigh-in Photos – All Six Women Official for Strikeforce Saturday

Wombat sports is dedicated to women in combat sports. Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. It is his vision to bring some of the best coverage to help bring and promote the ever expanding popularity of women’s MMA, wrestling, and martial arts with some of the best writers and athletes.

Three female division bouts are scheduled Saturday for Strikeforce event in San Diego; and all fighters made weight Friday.

Yamanaka & de Randamie

In the featherweight division, #1 Unified ranked Hiroko Yamanka (145) will take on Germiane de Randamie (144). It will air on ShoExtreme.

Tate and Kedzie

In the featured bout on ShoExtreme, former bantamweight champion Miesha Tate looks to get back in title contention as she faces veteran fighter Julie Kedzie. Tate weighed in at 136 pounds, while Kedzie was spot on at 135.

Rousey and Kaufman

In the main event of the card, which will air on Showtime, Strikeforce champion Ronda Rousey (135) and former champion Sarah Kaufman (134) will duke it out for the gold.
