Katia Alvariño

Laborde

In what was a weird situation in Uraguay,  as the Uruguayan Boxing Federation overturned a decision in a boxing bout between Katia Alvarino and Roxana Beatriz Laborde.

The judges originally scored an unanimous decision for Alvarino, but the commission promptly on the spot declared it a no contest for the Argentine fighter; feeling that “it was an unfair result for Laborde”.

.

Although no video is up on this fight yet, it would be interesting to see. Plus, would this be a good or bad thing for MMA?

This opens the door to a lot of questions.
