Two new Invicta title holders will be crowned at InvictaFC 4.

InvictaFC President Shannon Knapp announced this week on The MMA Show podcast that #4 ranked Carla Esparza and #3 ranked Ayaka Hamsaki will duke it out for the strawweight strap; while Vanessa Porto and #3 ranked Barb Honchak will go at it for the flyweight title. Both will solidify a world champion in each division.

Esparza

Espraza (8-2) is on a three fight win streak, including two straight wins at Invicta. Both wins come via TKO. Hamasaki (8-0) is undefeated with four submission to her credit; including a last second armbar win over Lacesy Schukman at InvictaFC 2.

Honchak (7-2) is on a six fight win streak and is climbing the flyweights ranks quickly. Her defeat of #4 ranked Ais “The Bash” Daly solidified her as one of the best 125ers on the planet.

.

Porto (15-5) earned her shot at the belt by taking a win over Tara LaRosa at InvictaFC 3. Having spent most of her career at bantamweight, Porto has found a home at 125 pounds. She has won five out of the last six.

A date for InvictaFC 4 has yet to be announced. It will again be held at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.
