Speculation is still swarming about #1 Unified ranked Sheila Gaff dropping out of her Cage Warriors flyweight title match with Rosi Sexton. After several days, Gaff’s coach Andre Balschmieter sent an explanation via Ground and Pound Germany.

According to Balschmieter, a month ago Gaff got a cold and was sent on five days bed rest. After returning, Gaff had collapsed several time during training and he let Cage Warriors know that there was a problem.

After seeing several specialists, the doctors preformed a stress test and advised her not to fight. They think it is a viral infection that didn’t fully clear Gaff’s system.  Blood was drawn, and  Balschmieter states that the results will be public knowledge after they come in within the week.

He also insists that Gaff is not doping, and is totally against it. They also hope that the fight can be rescheduled at a later date.
