Prazak
Holm
After regaining her International Boxing Associaition belt this past June, Holly Holm is looking to defend it, plus gain some more gold. Standing in her way is a quickly rising star in Australian Diana Prazak.
Prazak will face Holm December 7 for her IBA belt, while both will hope to gain the WBF light welterweight title at the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM.
Holm (31-2-3) got an unanimous decision in a rematch with Anne Sophie Mathis in June.
Before losing the title to Mathis, Holm was on a 26 undefeated streak . She trains out of the famed Jackson/Winkeljohn MMA.
Prazak (11-1) hasn’t tasted defeat since her debut as a pro boxer. In her last fight in April, she got a decision win over Fatuma Zarika. The current WIBA super featherweight champ will be moving up in weight for the fight, and also moving to the main event from the undercard. Trained by undefeated boxer Lucia Rijker, Prazak was Strikeforce MMA champ Ronda Rousey’s training partner for her fight against Sarah Kaufman.
No word on if the fight will be streamed.
