WWE star Eve Torres decided to call it quits this past Monday to take on something her and her fiance Rener Gracie are passionate about; women’s self defense.
Torres, a blue belt in Gracie jiu-jitsu, will use her off time to help develop and build the “Gracie Women Empowered” program. The seminars are held every month; which happens to be this weekend in Torres’s home gym in Torrence, CA. It teaches women techniques to defend themselves versus attackers; armed and unarmed. Torres will be a part of this weekend’s seminar. For those who can’t make it, the program is also available through online instruction and a series of DVDs.
