In what was a pretty close battle until the end, Tiffany Van Soest showed her tenacity and great sense of timing to get land a head kick to get the victory Friday night at Lion Promotions Muay Thai in Las Vegas, which aired on AXS TV.

Van Soest (now 6-0-1) used her speed in the first round, with Rufus using the clinch to neutralize it in the second. Van Soest took a close third round as both were implementing their game plans. Round four saw Rufus getting the upper hand before Van Soest was able to land a head kick followed by a left and right to end the fight via TKO.
